Dark to Light: Adrenochrome to UBI
Newsweek just published an article this week on how Silicon Valley is talking about using young blood to hack aging, which has sparked a slew of memes about how Alex Jones was right. That Hollywood and Big Tech are a cabal of child eaters, harvesting children for adrenochrome.
Adrenochrome conspiracies are spreading at a growing popular pace. So much so that Jesus himself, well Jim Caviezel has started spreading these theories himself.
For those that aren’t aware, Qanon is a repackaged anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that was rekindling another Satanic Panic. Some believe that a new religion may come from the ashes of Qanon and they’re probably right.
For me, I see it as an opportunity to take a Fascist conspiracy theory and turn it from dark to light. The reptilians aren’t here to take all of your money (Another anti-Semitic conspiracy theory btw). They are right though that billionaires have rigged the system against us all. All one has to do is look at the drama from earlier in the year with retail investors and Robinhood.
Earlier I included a photo of Monsters Inc. Instead of spreading lies about people using children’s fear to harvest adrenochrome; I see this as an opportunity to bring up a conversation about UBI.
Scott Santens in the above video and this article, proposes shifting our society’s economy from a fear based economy to a joy based economy via UBI. Part of this idea comes from covering Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
“We can create a world that runs on joy instead of fear. We can choose to do that. We can choose to remove the guns pointed at everyone’s heads, and in so doing liberate everyone with the freedom to voluntarily pursue whatever pursuits they find most meaningful. All that’s required is to abolish the fear of death by poverty. Unconditional basic income does that.”
UBI is also a suggested solution for communal actualization vs. Maslow’s self-actualization. This concept comes from the Blackfoot tribe’s model for communal actualization.
So how do we pay for it?
I don’t know. I’ve had several ideas and I’ve heard others with their own ideas as well.
There are various influencers and politicians online pushing the theories that all have their own ideas. Like Scott Santens mentioned earlier. Or Andrew Yang, who is currently running for Mayor of NY.
Big Tech has been a popular target of everyone’s anger lately. Jim Jordon. Justice Thomas. A bunch of people of various political perspectives.
In this piece, Jack Delaney mentions his experience with censorship and why he believes it’s time to nationalize social media and big tech. To democratize them as a public utility.
South Korea implemented a form of UBI during the pandemic that gave citizens a local currency that would expire. This way the additional money was used to support local business and the expiration on the currency prevented people from hoarding the currency as a form of wealth.
I don’t have the answers, but UBI is definitely growing more and more in the political conversation between various perspectives. Pope Francis has even suggested it as a means of tackling poverty once and for all.
